First Ever Live Civil Foundation Scholarship and the 3rd Annual Live Civil Day

Live Civil Day is a homecoming celebration for Elizabeth, NJ native and Harvard Business Alumna Karen Civil. Civil is kicking off summer with her celebrity friends to empower inner-city youth of her hometown on the importance of post-secondary education, health & wellness, and pursuing their passions throughout the duration of the summer and beyond.
ELIZABETH, N.J. -- July 10, 2019 – Karen Civil, Adidas, Beats by Dre, DTLR Villa, Black College Expo, Elizabeth Public Schools and more will team up for the 3rd Live Civil Day Basketball Tournament at Elizabeth High School’s Dunn Sports Center (600 Pearl Street) in Elizabeth, NJ on July 12, 2019 at 3 p.m. For the first time ever the Live Civil Foundation in collaboration with DTLP Villa will award two deserving high school seniors with a scholarship to help offset the growing costs associated with attending college. Live Civil Day is a day of giving and promoting positivity benefitting inner- city youth. The fun filled day will include a private basketball camp featuring professional athletes, basketball tournament, activations, give-a-ways, celebrity surprises and more. The event is free and open to the public.
