Milan Fashion Week Beauty Trends Roundup

Trailing New York City and London, Milan made their mark and reminded everyone why it's the fashion capital of the world. Milan Fashion Week was spectacular with iconic moments like Gucci's blast to the past and Versace's 20th anniversary tribute. We saw the glowing and sculpted legs of 90s supermodels, perfected skin created by Pat McGrath, berry-toned lips by Tom Pecheux and much more. Here are 3 looks I'm dying to try this spring so I can claim to be as fabulous as the Italians.

1. Effortless beauty

Mark Carrasquillo showed us far how dewy, highlighted skin and groomed brows can take you with this look created for Etro. Light radiating from the center of the face created such a "glowing from within" look. I mean come on now. Look at this woman!

2. Stained lips with no borders

Tom Pecheux who just taught us the blush trick at London Fashion Week was all for stained lips in various berry and red tones. Stepping away from the perfected lip lines and into the pout without borders, this trend will be easy to achieve by dabbing lipstick on with your finger.

3. Feline flick with a twist

Fendi, Versus Versace, Oscar de la Renta, and Jill Stuart all recreated the infamous cat eye. Bold graphic liner, adding a pop of color to the tail, even doing a reverse cat eye by lining and extending the lower lash line instead of the top all made their way across the stage. Playing with eye liner textures will be best to achieve these looks.
